Rasha’nan Overview

Rasha’nan is a two-phase encounter where the raid faces her on The Dawnbreaker airship and then transitions to a ground fight at the Veneration Grounds. The key to the fight is managing waves of acid, throwing bombs to deal heavy damage, and avoiding web-based mechanics.

Main Abilities

• Arathi Bomb (All Roles): Players must pick up and throw these bombs at Rasha’nan to deal significant damage.
• Rolling Acid (All Roles): Creates waves of acid that players need to avoid.
• Spinneret’s Strands (Tanks): Tethers players, pulling them toward Rasha’nan.
• Erosive Spray (Healers): Deals heavy nature damage to the raid, requiring strong healing.
• Sticky Webs (All Roles): Webs that reduce movement speed and can be turned into damaging Acid Pools by Rolling Acid.

Rasha’nan Short Guide

• Tanks: Manage the tether from Spinneret’s Strands and ensure Rasha’nan stays in a good position for the raid to throw Arathi Bombs.
• DPS: Help with throwing Arathi Bombs and focus on managing adds that spawn from Sticky Webs.
• Healers: Be prepared for raid-wide damage from Erosive Spray and manage players affected by Spinneret’s Strands.

Rasha’nan Detailed Boss Guide for Nerub-ar Palace
(Normal, Heroic, and Mythic)

Phase 1: The Dawnbreaker

• Arathi Bombs are critical to the fight, as they deal heavy damage to Rasha’nan. Players should pick up the bombs and throw them at her while avoiding damage from the Sparking Arathi Bomb while holding it.
• Rolling Acid targets random players, releasing waves that corrode the floor and deal stacking damage over time. Ensure no one stands in the waves to avoid unnecessary damage.

Phase 2: Veneration Grounds

• Once Rasha’nan takes flight, the fight moves to the ground where players must manage acid pools and web mechanics. Spinneret’s Strands tethers players and can deal heavy raid-wide damage when snapped, so position carefully.
• Sticky Webs will create immobilizing zones. DPS and tanks should avoid standing in webs, and Rolling Acid will convert webs into Acid Pools that deal significant damage to players standing inside.

Mythic Mode Enhancements

• On Mythic, the ability Expel Webs is introduced, adding more complexity to positioning as it will root players and deal heavy damage to anyone caught in the webs.
