The fight progresses through multiple stages where players must avoid being webbed, poisoned, and ultimately devoured. She summons minions, manipulates space with Abyssal Conduits, and unleashes devastating shadow attacks. As the fight progresses, Ansurek grows stronger, eventually reaching a catastrophic final phase if not handled swiftly.

Main Abilities:

• Reactive Froth: Bursts of poisonous froth that explode on contact, applying toxins to nearby players.
• Venom Nova: Releases a ring of venom, dealing massive AoE damage if not avoided.
• Predation: Ansurek envelops herself in webs, absorbing damage while yanking players closer to her.
• Cosmic Apocalypse: A devastating shadow explosion from Ansurek’s followers if not interrupted.
• Frothing Gluttony: A consuming spell that draws players toward the Queen, applying heavy shadow damage and increasing her power.

Queen Ansurek Short Guide:

Tanks:

• Position Ansurek away from the raid to avoid unnecessary AoE damage from her abilities.
• Swap frequently during Infest to manage stacking shadow and physical damage debuffs.
• Watch for Web Blades, as it can slow movement and trap you in place.

Healers:

• Be ready to dispel Gloom Touch from affected players to prevent severe raid-wide damage.
• Keep up with constant AoE healing during Acrid Presence, as the damage ramps up over time.
• React quickly to free players from Silken Tomb and heal through the damage.

DPS:

Queen Ansurek Detailed Guide for Nerub-ar raid:

Phase 1: A Queen’s Venom

• Reactive Toxin: Ansurek afflicts players with a toxin that deals Nature damage and knocks back players within 8 yards. Avoid grouping up to minimize this.
• Venom Nova: Ansurek sends out expanding rings of venom that deal massive AoE damage. Players must move to avoid the expanding rings, which slow and deal ticking damage if touched.
• Silken Tomb: Traps random players in webbing, dealing constant damage until the tomb is destroyed. DPS should switch to free trapped players immediately.
• Web Blades: Silk strands pull bladed webbing towards players, dealing Nature damage and slowing movement speed by 95%. This must be avoided or players will be immobilized.

Intermission: The Spider’s Web

• Predation: Ansurek shields herself, reducing incoming damage, and attaches Predation Threads to all players. This deals periodic Nature damage and pulls players closer to her. Players need to break through her web shield quickly to avoid being devoured.
• Paralyzing Venom: Ansurek splashes venom, slowing players and increasing their damage taken. This must be dispelled quickly to prevent stacking too much damage.
• Devour: Ansurek consumes players who are within 12 yards of her during this phase, dealing lethal Physical damage. Players must use mobility to escape her pull.

Phase 2: Royal Ascension

• Shadowgate: Ansurek summons shadowy gateways that deploy her forces and explode, dealing Shadow damage unless a player disrupts them by traveling through the gateway. However, doing so applies Gloom Touch and Shadowy Distortion to the player.
• Cosmic Apocalypse: Devoted Worshippers cast this powerful ability, causing a raid-wide shadow explosion if not interrupted or killed in time.
• Abyssal Conduit: Void conduits tear open, dealing significant Shadow damage and teleporting players between them. Conduit ejections and collapses create dangerous zones of Gloom that must be avoided.

Phase 3: Paranoia’s Feast

• Frothing Gluttony: Ansurek draws in players with this ability, pulling them towards her while dealing heavy Shadow damage. She will consume any players or Acolytes within range, causing Froth Vapor, which increases her damage output.
• Abyssal Infusion: Ansurek afflicts players with dark energy, knocking them away and dealing Shadow damage.
• Conduit Collapse: As conduits destabilize, they collapse, dealing significant damage to players within 12 yards and forming more Gloom zones.
• Consume: Ansurek consumes the essence of a player, dealing lethal Shadow damage if they are caught within range.
